I tested the speed of my HDD (3 partitions) using Crystal Disk Mark, but I can't find what should be the good/normal scores for a HDD.
7200RPM Seagate 1TB HDD.
Model: STD1000DM003-1SB10C
C: is 200GB, D: and E: are 400GB
My scores are below
C:
Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 176.253 MB/s
Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 189.606 MB/s
Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 1.198 MB/s [ 292.5 IOPS]
Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 0.929 MB/s [ 226.8 IOPS]
Sequential Read (T= 1) : 195.904 MB/s
Sequential Write (T= 1) : 152.266 MB/s
Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 0.495 MB/s [ 120.8 IOPS]
Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 0.919 MB/s [ 224.4 IOPS]
D:
Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 172.179 MB/s
Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 159.836 MB/s
Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 1.694 MB/s [ 413.6 IOPS]
Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 1.371 MB/s [ 334.7 IOPS]
Sequential Read (T= 1) : 171.116 MB/s
Sequential Write (T= 1) : 158.342 MB/s
Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 0.621 MB/s [ 151.6 IOPS]
Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 1.260 MB/s [ 307.6 IOPS]

Hey there, @himmatsj!
Indeed, your transfer speeds seem perfectly normal for a 7,200 RPM HDD. You should be able to find the maximum transfer rate speed on the data specification sheet of your hard drive model. This is something that can be found on the official HDD manufacturer's website. Maybe you should take a look there. I'd also recommend you also use their brand-specific diagnostic utility to monitor your drive's health and SMART stats in the future.
Keeping backups somewhere else as well is also advisable, in order to prevent any potential data loss.
Good luck! Hope this was helpful.

Looks ok to me.
But if I read things correctly, your test used queue depth of 32 that is way beyond what a normal user does. See how QD-1 does.

I used the default settings for the test. Wasn't sure if it needed altering or not. I assumed people would compare scores based on the default settings.
